Home Helpers of Ventura County and West LA is a local family owned and operated franchise. George and Patricia Jones come from families of doctors and nurses who started their company by combining their interests and passions of providing care for people with their daily living needs.  They have been residents of this area since 1979 and are active in the community organizations including:  former board members of Hospice, Senior Adult Master Plan, members of the Ethics Committee , Ventura County Homecare Association, Charter Board Members of Casa Pacifica Home for Abused Children,  founded “The Seniors In the Arts Program”, and Members of Child Help USA.  Each has served six year terms at a regional hospital on the board of trustees at separate times.  They are strong advocates for the prevention of elder abuse.

Patricia has an MBA from Pepperdine University graduating fourth in her class.  She is a member of Rotary International and Past President and CEO of the Alliance for the Arts.  George Jones, BSIE, is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) with training and familiarity in 25 aspects of aging.  His background in sociology, industrial engineering and business management has been an asset in planning systems and operating a business which takes care of seniors and those with recovering needs. 

George developed an understanding and caring for seniors at an early age.   His father was nearly 50 when he was born and his mother was widowed at age 52. 

Home Helpers & Direct Link provides in home care for seniors and those with temporary or permanent disabilities in Ventura Co, and the following cities: Malibu, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Camarillo, Newbury Park, Moorpark, Oak Park, Pacific Palisades, Agoura Hills, West Lake Village, Ventura as well as Los Angeles Co.
